The Lake Waco Wetlands is a 180-acre wetland, located at the upper end of Lake Waco along the North Bosque River. It provides habitat to numerous aquatic plants, insects, reptiles, mammals, amphibians as well as many migratory birds. Some of the most popular features to the wetlands are the nursery area and bird watching.
